 <note><![CDATA[The main purose of this paper is to explore the factors (affective commitment, job satisfaction) affecting turnover intention of nurses in RSIA Hermina, Bogor. This study also aimed to examine the effects of work environment and financial compensation on nurses job satisfaction.
A structural equation modeling approach was employed to identify the variables that significantly affect the decision to quit. This research is categorized as survey research with descriptive analysis method by taking sample and using questionnaire as the main data. A validated questionnaire was used to collect data from 100 nurses. Respondents were asked to rate the intensity of 20 statements using a seven-point scale. The respondents are chosen by using nonprobability sampling and purposive sampling techniques.
The result showed that work environment and financial compensation has positive effect on job satisfaction of nurses. Next, job satisfaction has positive effect on affective commitment of nurses. In other hand, job satisfaction has no significant effect on turnover intention. The last result is affective commitment has negative effect on nurses turnover intention.
